"I feel that I experience life and my surroundings most fully through art. I am excited and awed by the extraordinary beauty and diversity created on this earth and am driven to describe it in a pictorial form most often with oil. I thrive on variety and love to paint all subjects and also sculpt when time allows. I feel that Plein Air paintings are a legacy that we can leave for the generations that will follow, as many of the extraordinary sights we enjoy may not exist for them. Those of us who experience them through paint are fortunate indeed."
